Dawes Family by Joan Murray Dawes

Joan’s 265 page book is a comprehensive story for the many Australian descendants of a Yass pioneer family created by emigrants William Henry Daws from Cornwall, on the “Herefordshire” in 1857  and Mary Anne Flanagan from Galway, on the  “Kate” two years earlier in 1855. They were married in Yass NSW in 1859.
